Head Start on Engineering is a collaboration between MHCC Head Start, OMSI, Institute for Learning Innovation, and Notre Dame to support families with young children in developing lifelong interests in engineering and science. We will share our journey over the past two years. Come and see the parent child activities that OMSI has developed for families at home and in the classrooms. Results from our research and what we have learned.

At the end of this session the participant will be able to:
  • Know what early childhood, engineering-related interest development looks like for parents and children.
  • Know how to support engineering interests with children and families.
