Learn the whats and whys of self-control using The Daisy Model. When teachers understand these principles of neurological development, they will know why these techniques are helpful and when to use them. This presentation puts together good teaching skills with leading edge understanding of development using simple, non-technical language. Teachers will leave encouraged and empowered.

At the end of this session the participant will be able to:
  • Recognize personal stress response and children's stress responses.
  • State three ways to support stress control.
